Sponsored by the Bracco Foundation and the International Olympic Committee and conducted by the Pavia Observatory, the study analyzes, for the period 2024-2026, whether and to what extent coverage of the Olympics and Paralympics is still influenced by gender bias. Monitoring of major television news programs demonstrates that the visibility of women's sports increases significantly during major international events, yet struggles to maintain this level during non-mainstream periods. The survey thus produces concrete evidence needed to spur policy and structural cultural changes, promoting a truly meritocratic representation of sports.
