A Life for Sport - Faces and Achievements of the 100 Experts

The photography exhibition "A Life for Sport" celebrates the courage and determination of women who have changed the Italian sports landscape, from athletes to top executives.

Conceived by the Bracco Foundation and part of the 100esperte ecosystem, the exhibition complements the database by translating the experts' profiles into stories of inspiration and athletic and managerial leadership.

The project aims to overcome gender stereotypes by stimulating a cultural evolution in the media and society that places merit, determination, and the value of female talent in sport at the center.

Multi-medal-winning athletes, Paralympic champions, top executives, and activists fighting for rights and universal access to sports are captured in Gerald Bruneau's signature photographs. The images convey the complexity of their professional journeys, portraying the protagonists not only at the moment of their competitive achievements, but in the everyday, human dimension of sport. Each shot thus becomes a testament to tenacity and determination, demonstrating how sport can be a concrete vehicle for equality and inspiration for new generations.

Organized under the patronage of the Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, the exhibition has become part of the Cultural Olympiad, accompanying the journey to the Winter Games through stops in public spaces in cities such as Milan and Verona, as well as local innovation hubs. The initiative's international significance was confirmed by the presence among those photographed of International Olympic Committee President Kirsty Coventry, the first woman and first African to hold this role, a key figure for the global future of sport.
